Your Role With Us:As a critical access hospital, the Salem West Valley Hospital serves the community in a unique way. This department is a 25 bed Medical Surgical/Swing Bed (Transitional Care) unit, which provide inpatient and outpatient services. Our inpatient population consists of acute care patients requiring admission for up to 96 hours. Our outpatient services include patients requiring overnight observation as well as patients requiring skilled nursing care. This team focuses on high caregiver engagement and excellent patient outcomes. As a team member, you will contribute and participate in many staff-led projects that are designed to deliver the highest quality of care at all times.Our Nurses work independently, as well as collaboratively, maintaining a positive, professional demeanor while prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines. You will be constantly challenged to think creatively about how to drive patient care results, stay updated on current trends and practices, and share learnings with the team and other health care colleagues.
