Here's what you can expect from the job and what you need to be successful:
Job Duties:
  • Lead the Indirect and Fintech Partner lending division, developing, and implementing strategic initiatives to drive growth and profitability.
  • Utilize economic and market data insights to inform lending strategies and optimize performance.
  • Oversee all aspects of the lending process, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to optimize processes and enhance the member experience
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with Fintech partners and external stakeholders
  • Provide leadership and guidance to team members, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.

Essential Skills:

  • Minimum 10 years' senior level leadership experience preferably in auto lending
  • Executive level experience directing and growing a loan portfolio within the financial industry
  • Experience developing B2B relationships while achieving profitable, strong sales results in an ethical manner
  • Comprehensive understanding of state and national regulatory requirements in lending
  • Skilled in recognizing, examining and responding to concurrent industry, economic and/or internal trends
  • Previous experience directing, developing and coaching large teams both locally and remotely
  • Demonstrated ability to motivate and influence multiple audiences through succinct and clear communication methods
  • Ability to contribute to and deliver a business plan and strategy that is in alignment with credit union and department objectives
  • Confidence to make decisions in ambiguous circumstances and to work in an evolving regulatory environment
  • Computer competency and hands-on experience with financial software and loan application and decisioning systems (e.g. OSI, Ackelerant)
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
Location: Hillsboro Corporate Office, Hillsboro, OR 97124 (HYBRID)
Target Compensation in Hillsboro, OR:$185,000 to $200,000annually + annual bonus
